Description
Specimen consists entirely of tumour tissue. The tumour is lobulated measuring up to 9.5 cm in
length. Scattered areas of necrosis are seen within the centre of the lobules.
History
The patient, a 45 year old male, presented with an intramuscular tumour of the right
thigh. This was shown histologically to be a myxoid liposarcoma.
